Another great year at CIWM with a successful
launch of the WCR balloon and a great evening aboard the
Orient Express Northern Belle.
At WCR, we take great pride in the
fact that our fleet is the most comprehensive in the
UK. We are also committed to offering customers ever
greater choice and quality. Following significant investment,
we are therefore delighted to announce the recent delivery
of a number of brand new vehicles.
In May 2007, our fleet was enhanced by
the addition of 5 brand new Dennis Eagle Twin Pack refuse
collection vehicles. These have two compaction compartments
for green waste and other refuse and are already serving
customers nationwide.
We also have brand new 7.5 tonne and
15 tonne refuse collection vehicles. These provide the
same features as the more common 26 tonne models but are
smaller and much easier to use, especially in those built
up areas where space is often restricted.
In May, we supplied a leading West Midlands
authority with 8 new refuse collection vehicles. These
have been built to the exact specifications of their Fleet
Transport Manager and sign written in the organisation’s
own livery. Whilst less flexible hire specialists often
reserve these services for longer term contracts, our bespoke
vehicles have been supplied under shorter 12 month hire
agreements.
